- Rules for replacing players from original team at time of registration- You need to send an email to Manmohan Sahoo and Parag Mehresh with details about New Player and the player to be removed from the list. The email and fees should be recieved before the End of day prior to the game day. Till June 15th no fees will be charged to replace players (give teams some time to make adjustment to their teams). After June 15th and till end of first round a fees of $15 will be charged per player (to be replaced) and after first round till end of tournament a fees of $30 will be charged per player (to be replaced). You can pay this fees in cash or Cheques payable to "CAP" or "Brahmaji Kadium". The player will be allowed to play in a game only after the fees is recieved. The player who have already played for any other team in first round can not be added in the second round

- THIS YEAR WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT IN ADDITION TO THE TROPHIES LIKE LAST YEAR THERE WILL BE PRICE MONEY FOR THE TOP TEAMS, THE EXACT AMOUNT AND DISTRIBUTION WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN A LATER COMMUNICATION

- Umpiring :$100 Umpiring security deposit in addition to the $300 Reg fee. CAP management  will schedule umpiring for each participating team before the beginning of the tournament. Its captains responsibility to ensure that the umpires are present on field before the scheduled start time. The umpires need to coordinate with the CAP management (Brahmaji Kadium, Manmohan Sahoo or Parag Mehresh) to ensure they have allthe necessary equipment (stumps, score sheets, balls etc) to conduct the game as planned. If a team is unable to send an umpire for a game (before the beginning of the game, its no use if the umpires show up after the game has already started) it will be fined $20  for each such incident from the $100 umpiring security deposit as mentioned above (after the tournament the remaining deposit will be reimbursed to the team captain).  Its CAP management who will decide on the replacement umpires. The replacement umpires who are going to show up in place of the designated umpires for that game, will recieve $10 each (so in total $20 fined money) for helping CAP management. - Ground updates: Before the tournament begins we will have ground levelled around the pitch with seeding done. We will put matting on the pitch. We will fill potholes in the field. We are working with park district to arrange for more seating in the ground. We have repaired the pitch damage done last year.

- Website updates: We are redesigning our website using professional support this year. The new website will be ready before May 14th

We are looking forward to have an exciting tournament this year too and best of luck for the tournament.

Regards
CAP Management

Cricket Season - 2011

Contributor : Hemanth

Spring is here already and its time for us to kickoff the discussion about cricket for the season as summer is approaching. We had a great season last year lifting another Cup and had loads of fun and parties under the leadership of Praveen (Urf Papi). But we have lost a few key players this year Sandeep (Yuvraj of Transformers) and Bharath (Our run machine and consistent opener), at the same time gained new players like Anil Peddi.

So Its time to appoint the captain and have him organize a few get togethers and practice sessions to get along each other and have some fun. As some of you know that praveen wants to get down from his captaincy this year as he wants to give the opportunity to someone fresh in the team. Make sure that he is not axed as the captain, in fact he is generous enough to offer a new guy the opportunity to see how things shape up. He is extending his support to the new captain by taking the vice captain role for this team this year in case the captain needs some suggestions and help.

Having said all the above about the ex-captain (:P), I hereby name the new captain for the team Transformers (Come'on King Maker you can do it ).

He is none other than Sastry Kompella.

Congratulations Dude.

I hope everybody in the team likes this decision and I am sure most of us wanted to see him as the captain for a long time.

!!!!Go TRANSFORMERS !!!!
